18 boxes of Chex Cereal (my hubby's favorite - I'm dedicating this shopping trip to his favorite cereal)
10 Knorr pasta/rice sides
7 boxes of Progresso Chicken broth
16 jars of Skippy Peanut Butter
15 boxes of Hamburger/Chicken Helper (some of them are pictured below)
5 bottles of Suave Kids 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner
1 bunch of bananas
1 bag of Breezers cough drops
12 bottles of Wish Bone dressing (Italian & Ranch)
5 boxes of Betty Crocker cake mix
10 Warm Delights
13 boxes of Macaroni Grill boxed dinners
All of this boils down to 113 items - paid $91.31, saved $296.22, each item was an average of $.81 - can't beat that.
I would not normally have bought this much, but my husband's office is competing with another company to donate the most food to the food bank. I think a lot of this and a lot of what is in storage will be donated.
For those of you who are wondering - yes - I did roll out of bed, no - I did not comb my hair or brush my teeth (wish I had though), yes - I'm crazy to do this, but I LOVE IT!!!!!

Wow, you did awesome. I just got back and saved 188.00 and spent 100.00. This is so much fun. How many transactions did you do?
OK, I am going to have to add it up now! WOW, I love this too!!!
I still need to go, I hope I can get some of the same things you did. How many of these items did you have coupons for?
So THAT's where all the Skippy went! Ü It was great to see you this morning. It was awfully early, but so much fun! I will add up my savings and post it on my blog later.
Thanks for teaching me!
Okay...click on the link to see my savings! http://welcometomychaos-vzj.blogspot.com/2008/11/im-tired-this-is-why.html
Thanks again Stacy!
I love your blog. I don't know if you answer questions, but if you do, I was wondering if someone could clarify for me which stores will take a printed coupon and which will not? I haven't tried those yet because I've heard they often get rejected. Thanks so much for all your tips! I hope I can get my shopping trips to look like yours some day!
Katie
Thanks for reading! I do answer questions. Most stores accept printable coupons, although there are some that do not. If it's a store you frequent, ask the checker or customer service desk what their policy is. There are some locally owned stores (mostly associated food stores) that do not accept printables. There are also some larger chain stores that limit the number of printables they will accept. It's always a good idea to check with your favorite stores first - there isn't a set rule for all stores. Hope that helps.
Stac,
Now THAT was fun! I only spent 67.60 and saved 187.01! AWESOME!!
I had to let you know about it because it was so much fun to see you there and I'm glad you were the one right behind me in line. I felt bad for that guy buying beer. He was probably saying to himself those damn mormons and their food storage. :) Thanks for teaching me! I'm blown away by how much I saved tonigh and how much I got! Plus, the bonus ten pushed it all the way over the top.
We should go together another time. We could even plan our outfits to match...hee hee.
Stacy,
I love your website, it has some great things on here. I just started doing this, and seem to be doing pretty good. But I do have one question. So when and what time do you go? That probably seems too personal. But everytime I go on WEdnesday they are out. Like last week it was the Suave and Dove shampoos and conditioners. So what do you suggest? If you could help me I would appreciate it.
Thanks
