If you aren't familiar with Swagbucks and you like to earn free stuff - stay tuned!
I've posted about this before, but now they've added an even new feature that I'm sooo excited about.
Swagbucks is like a search engine, but the more you search the more points you earn. You can then go to the Swagbucks website and cash these points in for all kinds of things (my favorites are the gift cards, but there's a lot of variety).
So they just added a place where you can print coupons. The key is to print them (you can print 2 per computer) and use them. Once they have been redeemed at your local store you get 10 points for each redeemed coupon. It does say in the fine print that it will take 8-12 weeks to show up in your banks. This doesn't bother me since I'm a regular coupon user.
Honestly - I don't see a reason under the sun why you wouldn't join now, earn points for surfing and if you're a regular couponer like me - earn some additional points for things you already do!
So what are you waiting for???? It's free stuff.....don't we all like free stuff????
Go here, sign up, surf, read their blog, and when you sign up for the first time you get 30 points to start! I can't wait to start cashing in on coupons.
I was really excited today when I walked out of Smith's having paid less than what I saved. Today is the last day of the sale and I was really hoping that they would still have cereal left. I was pleasantly surprised and just about cleared the remaining boxes from their end cap.
So the big day is almost here. Are you ready? Decorations, costumes, treats....???? If you're not or if you just love to find some fun Halloween stuff check out the following links.
Rhodes Breads - this site has a lot of fun recipes you can do for Halloween. Easy enough the kids can help.
Family Fun - this site has everything: recipes, decorations, costume ideas, crafts....
Pillsbury - lots of great recipes - don't forget the printable coupons you can also get on this site
Crayola - crafts and coloring pages
RedPlum - DIY kid costumes
Pumpkin Stencils - Hershey's, Nick Jr., Better Homes and Garden, Betty Crocker
If you have any great Halloween links that you'd like to share - let me know!

I came across some fun Halloween Pumpkin stencils. If you're like me and can't think of anything creative on your own, here's a few to choose from. Hopefully, I'll come up with some other fun Halloween sites in the near future.

Years ago when I was in college I took a sales class. We analyzed a variety of ways people market their products. Well let me tell you... I may not remember too much about that class, but the one thing that has always stuck with me is that $19.99 is the magic sales price. Almost all infomercials seem to start with a higher price, but by the time they are done the price is usually $19.99.
So this isn't really an infomercial, but rather a reminder that if you're interested in the BEST newspaper deal I've ever seen, NOW is the time to jump on this deal. If you sign up for the paper it will be the Friday, Saturday, Sunday editions (you also have the option to get the e-edition if you want to sign up for it).
You may also get up to 8 papers per household - this will really add to your food storage if you want to build it up quick!
1 paper = $19.99
2 papers = $39.98
3 papers = $59.97
4 papers = $79.96
5 papers = $99.95
6 papers = $119.94
7 papers = $139.93
8 papers = $159.92
A prime example of getting a great deal is that right now (I believe the sale ends today), Macey's has their Libby's canned vegetables on sale for $.33. In the Parade Magazine that we got on Sunday there was a coupon for $1.00 off the purchase of 3 Libby's vegetables. If you had one paper that would be 3 free cans, if you had 8 papers that would be 24 FREE cans!!!!
There are some great advantages to having multiple copies. Remember I teach free classes. I can teach you how to save between 40% and 60% on each shopping trip! If you're interested in hosting a class or getting the paper (or adding to your current subscriptions), let me know. callmestacy@yahoo.com or 801-589-3946.
I just got some GREAT news! I can now sell the Salt Lake newspapers for $19.99 a year!!! The price dropped 50%.
I thought $39.00 was a good price (that's what I paid over 2.5 years ago when I first started).
Also, you can now order up to 8 papers per household (4 Tribs and 4 D News). Can you even imagine the savings in your pocket? This boils down to $.38 per paper ~ I have honestly never seen this good of a deal on newspapers.
Couponing always saves me between 40% and 60% in every grocery trip. If you're looking to add to your savings by ordering more papers or if you're just getting started let me know and I'll get them ordered for you. You can contact me (Stacy) at 801-589-3946 or callmestacy@yahoo.com.
I also teach free couponing classes. If you're interested in hosting a group, let me know and we can set up a date and time.
I originally saw this posted on Freebies2Deals the other day and decided to book a tour. We went today (in the pouring rain). My kids are in year round school and we are in our first break of the year and looking for some fun and inexpensive things to do. The tour was a quick 30 minute tour. It was the perfect time for my kids (ages 8, 5 and 3 next week). We had to wear a hairnet and closed toe shoes (no flip flops or open toed sandals). (If you have really young kids who would not do well with a hairnet, this may not be good for them).
We watched a quick 3 minute movie before and then walked through the plant. I guess their busiest time is during the 4th quarter of the year. Victor, our tour guide kept suggesting that we come again during that time of the year when the factory is really busy.
After the tour was over we were greeted in their cookie shop with a tray full of cookies and brownies to sample. Can I just tell you that the smell wafting through that factory was wonderful! If you'd like to schedule your own tour check out this link.
Click here to print the B1G1 free coupon from Freebies2Deals. The coupon is good through 8/31/10.
Click here to schedule your own tour or you can call 801.412.8727.No paper - no problem, I can get you set up with either of the Salt Lake papers for just $39 a year (Friday, Saturday, Sunday delivery). Basically it's $.75 per Sunday paper - cheaper than you can get anywhere else. Let me know if you're interested (rumor has it, this may be ending soon). callmestacy@yahoo.com or 801-589-3946.
As promised here are a few lists that you can start going through to find the great deals at Smiths. Remember the sale starts tomorrow at 6:00 am and runs through the 31st.
Grocery Smarts - grocery list
Thanks to all the people behind these lists who worked hard to match up some great deals for us :0)
Remember if you score a great deal send me the details or a picture - I'd love to feature it in a blog!
If you haven't already heard - Smith's is doing another double coupon event. It will run from 7/28 (6:00 am) to 7/31 (midnight). If you haven't participated in their double coupon days, you'll certainly want to. You are maximizing your coupon buying power and getting sooo much more for less $$.
So here's how it will work: Any coupon you bring in that is less than $1.00 will have its value brought up to $1.00.
So a coupon worth $.10 = $1.00
$.25 = $1.00
$.55 = $1.00
$.75 = $1.00
The shopping lists have not come out yet so matchups are still a bit of a mystery. In the meantime, one of my favorite things to do is use the Grocery Smarts alphabetical list of coupons and do a quick review of the things I need to fill in my pantry and clip those coupons. This list is very handy when stores do this kind of sale.
So stay tuned........I'm sure I'll be posting those matchups lists soon! I'm loving Smith's more and more :0)
Okay ~ let's face it, Target has some really cool things (most of the time). I like Target stuff a lot, but I've always thought it was a little expensive. About a year ago (maybe longer), I started hearing the buzz about Target Coupons and that you could use a Target Coupon with a manufacturer coupon. Hmmmm.....that sounds like a pretty good deal if you ask me. There's some real savings to be had when you combine the two. You can check out the latest Target coupons here and.....if you're really looking for some great match-ups check out Totally Target's blog. She's put some great buys and freebies together making sure you get the most bang for your buck (you'll want to scroll through some of her entries - not all of them are Target related)!
