GM coupon and freebies

There's a really hot coupon out there right now for $1.50 off of 2 boxes of GM cereal. This week, most Associated Food stores are have a GM sale - pair these up and get some great savings off of your cereal. Remember you can print this coupon twice from your computer.

Free Cup of Yoplait Yogurt. All you have to do is like them and go to the calcium tab. You should see "Get Your Free Cup" - click on that and fill out the form for your freebie. Yoplait is giving away 1 million cups to their Facebook Fans.

P&G Freebies

I know I would rather get a freebie in the mail than a bill anyday! So for me it's a happy day when my box is filled with freebies and no bills. You can request your P&G freebies by going here. Remember you can re-request these freebies every quarter!!! - even better!

Some mail days are better than others....

So this is what I got in the mail today. I don't know what it is, but I love to get stuff in the mail!!! I guess it's the up side to getting bills :(

Here's what I got today. Granted this isn't a huge haul, but it's always fun to see what kinds of things you can get. I think the best part is actually getting the good coupons that go with the samples.

Today brought me:

A trial size, Pantene shampoo and conditioner, plus 4 coupons

A trial size, Dove deodrant/antiperspirant

A trial size, Lever bar of soap

A coupon for a free Butterfinger candy bar

So what do I do with all this stuff???? Well recently, I was trying to finish up putting 3 additional 72 hours kits together and some of this stuff would work great it one of those. It's also nice to be able to grab these trial size things for quick trips. I keep a container of this kind of stuff in my hall closet for those times when I need it.

As for the Butterfinger ~ hmmmm....I'm still deciding whether it's my treat or a treat for the prize bag I use when my kids have done extra chores around the house. Either way, all this stuff is fun and useful. I just wanted to share what it's like to get more samples and freebies in the mail than it is to get bills!

March is here - that means new coupons!!!

It's time to take advantage of those new online coupons! Every month there are new ones. It's better to print them now because the manufacturer only puts a certain number out there and you want to be able to take advantage of the ones you'll use. You can access them here or use the coupon bar in the upper right corner of my blog.

It's always great to get some additional savings on products you use all the time. Just remember to hang onto your receipts.

Lots of sales coming up

The next couple of months will be the time when you will see a lot of your case lot sales. Get ready to start adding to your food supply. I spoke with the manager of Macey's and he told me that their case lot will be mid September. Albertson's will have a big General Mills sale in the next week or two and it will be followed by a Quaker sale and then a Campbell's sale. I haven't checked with Smith's yet, but I'm sure they will have some great sales as well.

One thing I might recommend is that as you see coupons online (www.smartsource.com, www.boodle.com, www.coupons.com, etc....), you may want to start printing the ones you think you may use now. Sometimes the coupons reset and allow you to print more a month or so later. This will give you a good "stock" of coupons to use at some of these upcoming sales.

I get really excited this time of year. I've been looking forward to the Quaker sale. I started to coupon right about this time a year ago and did not get the stock of Quaker supplies that I would have liked to. I hope for your sake, you can take advantage of these great sales coming up!
